Introduction
Wee Wonder: Sharing God’s love with twos is a Bible-based curriculum for two-year-olds. These young children are beginning to expand their environment beyond the immediate family and home. The world is opening up to them in wonderful ways. What better place than in a Christian childcare or church setting to explore God’s world and nurture the child’s relationship with a loving Creator God?

How to use this guide
What to expect of twos
Seasoned early childhood teachers will be familiar with much of the information given about the world of the two-year-old. For first-time parents or teachers, this material will help you understand how twos learn and grow, and what to expect from them.
The role of the leader
You have the wonderful privilege of introducing these little ones to the treasured stories of Jesus and his friends. You will help children experience church and what it means to belong in a faith community. Within a loving classroom environment, two-year-olds can flourish as beloved children of God. Review the ten best ways to experience God with twos in the classroom setting.

This section gives tips on how to set up your classroom, the materials you will need, and the preparations that are necessary before you begin your Wee Wonder sessions.

General supplies
- Have on hand the following general supplies. (Check module introductions for lists of specific supplies.)
- Crayons, washable markers
- Washable ink pads in several colors
- Glue sticks and/or washable white glue, plastic lids and cotton swabs to use with glue
- Fabric in a variety of sizes, textures, and colors: bed sheets, silk scarves, fleece blanket, felt squares, bath towels, cotton
- Baskets: a small one for each child; larger baskets for Gather and Responsive play
- Wooden blocks, large cardboard blocks
- Wooden puzzles with large pieces
- Large pillows for reading and quiet time
- Clear plastic bottles with lids: peanut butter jars, parmesan cheese jars, individual size bottles
- Pre-moistened wipes, wet paper towels, or access to water for cleanup
